Summary/Abstract: Lately, the Italian media has granted a special attention to the immigrants’ issue. Starting from a research made by the Centre on Intercultural Studies from the University of Verona, one highlights a tendency to privilege the transitory and sensational information regarding illegal immigrants and their behaviours, without going thoroughly into the subjects.
