Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the participation of the local population in the region of Middle Struma and Razlog in the Uprising in 1978-79. It developed as a protest against the unjust decisions taken at the Berlin Congress, which separated these regions from the Bulgarian ethnic territories. The major purpose of the uprising was to liberate and annex these regions to the Bulgarian Kingdom.
