Summary/Abstract: The paper presents the administrative organization of the Ottoman Empire. The issues of the formation, arrangement and administrative division of individual provinces of the Ottoman Empire, as well as the issues of the organization and administration of the Empire in general, have multiple relevance for historical, legal and administrative science. The illumination of these questions is important because of the fact that the Ottoman Empire for centuries was one of the world’s largest empires. However, these questions are also important from the point of view of the administrative history of all those countries and peoples who lived for a longer or shorter period in the Ottoman Empire. Knowing the administrative division is often imposed as a prerequisite for proper understanding and successful resolution of some key issues, processes, and cognitions.
