Summary/Abstract: The present study highlights the challenging multicultural spirit culture in the Republic of Macedonia. This paper is based on a multidimensional study that enables scientific interpretation and elaboration of phenomenon of "divided society in progress" through analysis of two cases when tradition (carnival) and sport (handball) were used not as cohesive but fragmentation tool.
