Summary/Abstract: Anti-corruption policies requested by international institutions have been approached in Romania through a series of strategies and pieces of legislation, designed to strengthen ethical values, integrity and transparency within both central and local public institutions and authorities. This paper discusses the legal measures taken by Romanian authorities in an attempt to highlight the importance of consolidating the current institutional framework.
