Summary/Abstract: Deontology is a science that deals with the obligations and duties that must be performed by a category of persons in the frame of professional responsibility, or a doctrine pertaining to professional ethics in a specific field. Liability is a comprehensive legal term that describes the condition of being actually or potentially subject to a legal obligation. In this paper, we analyze the juridical institutions pertaining to the academia and the status of university staff, with specific reference to the professional ethics and responsibility in the academic community.
