Summary/Abstract: The subject of this paper is the journal Boy Scout Dorin I. Nuţescu of Focşani kept during his stay in Iaşi, in the years 1916, 1918. He held the rank of “patrol chief” with the specialty of “First Aid”. Through his assignment in Iasi, he worked in the “Vasile Lupu” Legion, the Iasi section, the “Gheorghe Asaki” Cohort, the Fourth Century, at the National College. During the war, young Nuţescu was assigned as a sanitary worker to Hospital No. 265 Iasi, on the premises of the Jewish Hospital on Elena Doamna Street. He recorded his experiences in Iasi during the Great War. The last pages of the journal include a handwritten list, with the addresses of colleagues and scout commanders in Iasi and a few people from outside the country, the Morse alphabet, as well as the description of scout legions in Romania. The book ends with a map of Romania, containing a note added, most likely after December 1, 1918.
