Summary/Abstract: In the traditional learning method the teacher played the central part and was the focus of the teaching process, and the students had the role of passive listeners. The goal of contemporary foreign language classes is to develop intercultural communication competence in pupils and foster autonomous learning. The right choice of contemporary ICT (information and communications technology) can greatly affect student motivation and contribute to the quality of class time. This paper discusses the presence and the possibility of adopting ICT in foreign language class time.
