Summary/Abstract: The Mission discourse belongs to five discourses of the Matthew Gospel. An interpretation of Mission discourse in the lectionary allows for a new interpretation of the Matthew Gospel by drawing thematic link between the Gospel, the first reading, the responsorial psalm, and verse before the Gospel. Therefore the interpretation of Mission discourse indicates the new kerygmatic and theological meaning, which is necessary for the proper homiletic actualization.
