Beauty of the liturgy and love for Christ

Summary/Abstract: Beauty is one of important components of the liturgy. However, it is not limited to the criteria related to aesthetics. It should be taken into account that liturgical celebration is an experience in which salvation and sanctification of a man take place. Therefore, knowing the general criteria of beauty, they should be supplemented with a sense of liturgical celebration and referred to the criterion of truth and even ethics. It cannot be forgotten that at the base of the true beauty of the liturgy is the sacrifice of Jesus Christ which cannot be missed by those who participate in it and care for it. The proper motive for caring for the quality of the liturgy is ultimately love for Christ.
