Summary/Abstract: This article deals with the translation of reality names in fantasy literature. Research material was collected from the novels of the Polish writer Andrzej Sapkowski and from their Russian translations. We analyzed the ways in which the names of such realities as: measures of length, weight, height, area, widely understood means of payment, holidays, time units, given names and occupations were transferred into Russian texts.
