Migration, Migrants and Economic Advantages of Migration

Summary/Abstract: The analysis elements of our research will work towards a deep approach of the following issues: identifying the migration mechanisms; economic advantages of migration (incomes from abroad, labor market clearing, etc), the statistic extent of external migration and its demographic implications for the future; ways to identify the balance area between using the labour force on the national market and work migration, in order to appreciate the future dimension of migration and efficiently manage it for the involved factors; the potential phenomenon which could generate economic development through its positive effects and the measures to be taken in order to efficiently use this potential. The general and often too optimistic approach of the international migration effects (especially for work) gives people the feeling that there are significant benefits of migration, highlighting the less overwhelming intelligent use of opportunities caused by integration and free movement of workforce, as well as the related internal economic and social risks.
