Summary/Abstract: This work is devoted to the study of methods and techniques that can be used by the teacher of an elementary school on the lessons of the General Cycle for the development of linguistic abilities of younger pupils. In an age of rapid development of information and communication technologies it seems to be especially important to develop linguistic and creative abilities of pupils and students.
