GOOD PRACTICES AND MODELS FOR INFORMATION SECURIY IN BUSINESS ORGANIZATIONS

Summary/Abstract: The threats to information systems of business organizations are constantly evolving. Finding the right solution to these threats is extremely difficult due to many additional factors. This article justifies the need the management of business organizations to make relevant decisions on investments in information security. To this end, risk management policies, frameworks for risk assessment, and models for investment in information security have been described and analyzed. Based on this, criteria for selecting a model for investments in the information security system are formulated. Attention is paid to good data protection practices.
