ANALYSIS OF GLOBAL TRADE FLOWS BY MERCHANDISE GROUPS

Summary/Abstract: International trade over the years marks a development that has shaped its present look. For this purpose, the paper aims at presenting a brief global analysis of the current trends in the development of international trade in goods during the period from 2006 to 2016. Emphasis is placed on the implementation of trade exchanges under conditions of regional cooperation as well as on trade by commodity groups. An important milestone for international trade is the cooperation between countries to achieve trade liberalization. Achieved trade liberalization gives opportunity to explore trends in the development of world trade.
