Summary/Abstract: The imaginary nature of palindromic numbers in the Bible can serve as a classic peroration, as an exaggerated explication in the form of numerals quoted literally. But the numerical notation is a rare and special case. More often it is a structural “code”, distributed geometrically, that organizes a rhetorical statement and enables it to function in different languages.
