Summary/Abstract: This article analyses the Brexit problem in the light of main concepts of differentiated integration. Great Britain, enjoying the status of preferential membership in the European union, benefited from the positive discrimination in many sectoral policies. After 23 June 2016 Brexit referendum, David Cameron’s and Theresa May’s governments work towards the status of preferential non-membership, opening a new chapter in the debate about differentiated forms of integration in Europe.
