L’encrage socioculturel dans la traduction des textes de la culture hip-hop
Sociocultural in the translation of the texts of the hip-hop culture

Summary/Abstract: The translation of some texts, such as those produced in the hip-hop culture and in turn which encompass an important density of sociocultural elements, generates multiple problems and difficulties. Moreover, it challenges seriously the translator’s interpretive capacities to choose the equivalents on a dynamic scale of possible meanings, taking into consideration the pragmatic-stylistic conditions of producing the original and translating it towards the recipients belonging to different socio-cultural spaces, as well as its translation oriented towards recipients belonging to different sociocultural areas. This issue is addressed in the present article.
