Summary/Abstract: The present paper revisits the social and political postulates of the civil society in the postcommunist period and it highlights the main aspects of the institutional capacity and dimensions recognized as basic principles for a democratic society. The attempt to highlight the social and political actors of transition focuses on a complex analysis of the proper understanding of the rule of law and the normative criteria that usually interrelate with the framework of civil society and its functional and institutional lens. We demonstrate analytically and emphasize using content and legal analysis that aiding and enabling an efficient civil society depends on the legal inputs of the social reform outputs.
