THE SCENARIO, AS A COMPREHENSIVE APPROACH METHOD FOR MILITARY ACTIONS IN CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURES PROTECTION

Summary/Abstract: The complexity of the contemporary security environment is mainly driven by the substantial and unpredictable changes in the behavior of the international actors. Crisis situations or the occurrence of major negative events are sources for triggering those hybrid military conflicts in which the military component may be unable to fulfill its assigned role.The scenarios developed according to the concept of comprehensive approach place the military actions in new coordinates of relating them to all other security systems: political, economic, social, infrastructure, intelligence, environment, etc. Thus, the two notions of military conflict and critical infrastructures protection become inseparable and hence a separate subject of study.
