REIMBURSEMENT OF THE HOST NATION SUPPORT GRANTED FOR FOREIGN ARMED FORCES PARTICIPATING IN MILITARY ACTIVITIES ON THE ROMANIA’S TERRITORY

Summary/Abstract: In the specialty literature, Host Nation Support is defined as an area of logistics applicable to all military activities taking place in the territory of a host nation with the participation of foreign armed forces. In our country, the procedures used for granting and reimbursing this kind of logistic support, the organizational elements and ways to reimburse the Host Nation Support are all NATO-specific. All of this makes the Host Nation Support granted for foreign armed forces able to be compensated correctly and easily within a reasonable timeframe.
