The Image of Intercultural Relations in the TV Serial. Case Study of Dziewczyny ze Lwowa (Girls from Lviv)

Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the intercultural meeting between Poles and Ukrainians in the television series. The series Girls from Lviv was created by Poles and presents stories of Ukrainian migrating to Warsaw for economic reasons. The text attempts to show the major theme of the series from the perspective of intercultural com¬munication. The reception series based on the reviews published in Ukrainian and Polish was discusses. Attention is paid to intercultural authors competences of media content, which concern the topic of the meeting between cultures.
