Summary/Abstract: The family is the most secure foundation of support in the situation of a loved one suffering and dying. Its activity results from the strength of intra-family bonds and appropriate legal regulations supporting its actions based on the principle of justice and support. Implementing them activates the social capital of activity arising from the principles of the common good, social love and solidarity. An example is the Social Hospice Care Center operating within the Lublin Society of the Friends of the Sick at the Good Samaritan Hospice, which shows practical applications of the above course of action within family assistance.
