Summary/Abstract: This study reflects the evolutions of the electoral system in the Republic of Moldova, starting with the elections from 1990 to the present. Especially in the 12th legislature’s Parliament, there were deputies from Transnistria (5 districts from the left bank of the Dniester). Than elections took place based on the majority electoral system. Because of the change in the electoral system, the elections of February 24, 2019 will take place in accordance with the rules of the mixed system. There will formed 2 circumspections in Trasnistria, 48 on the state’s territory and 3outside of it. There are about 15% of the country's electorat in Transnistria.
