Summary/Abstract: In a lot of organizations in Poland and in the world there are normalized management systems consistent with ISO standards. These systems have built an improvement mechanism, which allows to introduce changes in organizations through corrective and preventive actions. The aim of this article is to present the results of research concerning the practices in the maintenance and improvement of management systems in organizations in Poland.
