Project management maturity as developmental potential of an enterprise

Summary/Abstract: Recently project management concept has raised a lot of interest among managing directors. There is no need to convince anyone that organization management through projects gives possibilities of achieving long term goals of a corporation in a systematic and controlled way, not exceeding three main constrains: budget, time and scope of projects. The main aim of project management is to maximize particular projects contribution to achieve organization success and to maximize business effects. Nowadays there is a possibility to determine project management maturity of an organization which allows to define different areas of project management in the organization and their continuous improvement.
