Summary/Abstract: Software Engineering (SE) is a core area in the Computer Science program. The SE course is often featured with a semester-long team-based real world project to help students develop both technical skills and soft skills needed in the software development process. In this paper, we present our experiences in designing SE course projects using a software project management tool suite. Through developing and maintaining this tool suite, students can gain better understanding of the challenges and issues in software development process, as well as more real world software engineering experiences.
