Summary/Abstract: NBM policies must work towards achieving its inflation targeting strategy based on classical monetary policy instruments - a major long-term priority related to creating the necessary conditions of lending. In this context, the priority related to the granting of rights of creditors, efficient mechanisms to restructure nonperforming loans, improving the business climate, raising confidence in monetary policy, stepping up cooperation between the monetary authority and business. However, the primary objective of the central bank remains the strengthening of the financial stability, optimally capitalized domestic banks, to act promptly of any risk to remediate weaknesses exposed by the crisis.
