Summary/Abstract: Children suffering from autism have unique social and communication deficiencies and also behavioural difficulties which can interfere with their studying and adaptation challenges, which is why they represent unique challenges for schools and teachers, who find the efficient fulfilment of their needs quite difficult. The lack of social and emotional competence may lead not only to a weaker connection between ASD students and schools, but also to a weaker academic performance. Teachers’ attitudes regarding inclusive education might change in a well prepared educational system that is ready to receive ASD children, to accept and integrate them, an educational system that can meet certain requirements for a fluency in this field. The inclusion may become an educational milestone and could supersede the integration of children with special needs, although it is compulsory for us to fully understand the difference between the two.
