Summary/Abstract: In our country every day, thousands of people are losing their lives and becoming permanently disabled due to workplace accidents. Vocational school students are interning throughout their school lives and serving as middle personnel in industry and service sectors afte they graduate. This is why this study is of importance. The study is done to determine the first aid knowledge of the students who are studying at Silifke - Taşucu Vocational Technical School of Selçuk University. Firstly the literature was studied and a questionnaire form was prepared. Students were met face-to-face and asked to answer the questions. Given answers were marked on options, acquired information was evaluated with a SPSS programme, with percentage frequency and average analysis of the acquired findings, tables were created and a consensus was reached. To the question, "Have you ever gotten an education on first aid?" 58,5% of students have given the answer, yes and 41,5% gave the answer no. Upon examining first aid information points (FAIP), it is found that averages of students that gave the answer yes were (20,90±5,45) and averages of students that gave the answer no were (18,36±4,31). In conclusion, upon the comparison of information points, it was determined that there is a considerable difference between students that had education and students that had not.
