Summary/Abstract: Soviet Union, which contained fifteen republics, had a centralized system of economic distribution. The disintegration of the Soviet Union negatively affected the economies of this independent republics. The bad economic and political situation has led to the strategic and economic cooperation with other countries. The Soviet Union has a socialist and closed economy and it has only economic relations with allied countries. In USSR, Georgia had a centralized economic system. The economic decisions about Georgia first discussed in Tbilisi, then Moscow made the final decision. All decisions of production, consumption, distribution, import, product quality, price and trade in Georgia were approved by the central authority. The Georgian economy was one of the most developed economies in USSR. The geostrategic and geopolitical position of Georgia value and provided an advantage for finding new economic partners increased. In this regard the ideal country has been neighbor Turkey. Between the two countries have been signed many small and large Economic and Commercial Agreements. The first agreements has been starter with the corporations, the result of combining energy corridors going through Georgia of Asia and Europe, gives a lot of corporations pre-engineered projects with Turkey. For example, Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan project, the Petrol and the (Shah Deniz ) natural gas pipeline, the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railroad projects (this project is called the “Iron Silk Road”) have turned into a long-term commercial partnership between this counties. Turkey, especially in Georgia, located in the front row as a partner imports. It is also in the list of investors in. There are good relations between this two countries in achieving the survival of Georgia and Turkey as the energy source has been very helpful for the strong partnership between this two counties.
