Summary/Abstract: Eszter Biró reports about the Spielart Festival in Munich in her article Stories from Europe and Beyond. The majority of the performances presented deal with current issues that European citizens are confronted with and that reach beyond Europe. This is how the Mexicans crossing the US border are mentioned, as well as the war-loaded recent past and present of the Middle-East (the victims of civil wars in Lebanon and Syria, the radicalisation of western-European youth), but we also get reviews of performances dealing with depression, people struggling with suicidal tendencies, executioners and euthanasia.
