Summary/Abstract: The most important among several court proceedings held in Bosnia and Herzego vina during the First World War was Banja Luka high-treason process (November 3. 1915 – April 22. 1916) against 156 Serbian political, cultural and public workers, priests and peasants. The key motive for organizing this and similar court proceedings was to transfer responsibility for First world war to the side of Serbia. High-treason processes were part of a well-designed Austro-Hungarian war propaganda against Serbs and their national associations. Three most important officials of Serbian cultural society „Prosvjeta“ Vasilj Grđić, Simo Mirković and Vladimir Ćorović were convicted at Banja Luka trial. This so ciety was founded in 1902. in Sarajevo in order to accelerate cultural and econimic devel opment of Serbs in country. Vladimir Ćorović (1885–1941) was one of the most important Serbian intellectuals in Bosnia and Herzegovina. On the eve of the war he worked at the National Museum in Sarajevo. He was sentenced to eight years in prison. Ćorović was released in 1917.
