Summary/Abstract: Vojin Komadina is a Bosnian-Herzegovinian composer, whose opus was marked by stylistic plurality. An analytical walk through all the stylistic changes presented in four works points to the basic formal processes present in the works’ macrostructure and microstructure: the evolutive principle of construction out of the main motivic cell, opposed by static music material which is result of its formal units repetition. This paper aims to point to those primary formal processes that are not a matter of style, and point to the individual author’s sense of the formal organization of the work.
