Summary/Abstract: This article aims to help teachers in their efforts to communicate effectively with parents of high school students. Clarifying the role of the parent in the educational process, putting the communication with him on a principled basis, specifying the teacher’s reactions when communicating with parents, leads to an extremely useful predictability of the results of the interaction with parents and increases the effectiveness of such a delicate partnership.
