Summary/Abstract: The dialectization attested in the French speaking world is explained by the fact that this language is spoken by speakers from different sociocultural backgrounds. The permanent contact between French and the Francophone community languages lead to a phenomenon of enrichment of French. Cohabitation with the French vehicular fulfulde gave birth to a hybrid spoken in schools in Northern Cameroon, the franfulfulde, characterized by linguistic interference in what concerns the first and second articulation of language. This leads to a true complementarity French – lingua franca, thus laying the foundations of a genuine interculturalism.
