Summary/Abstract: The aim of this study is to analyze the interaction between the influence created by the Turkish Armed Forces through the military education and the military interventions. Research data is collected through the data collection means such as literature review-secondary sources, observations and interviews. Study concludes that the political culture, the military culture, and the military education may comprise the codes triggering the military interventions and there is a need to establish a democratic governance model convenient with the democratization demands of the Turkish society, which is based on dialog, co-operation on shared values and objectives between the civilian and the military elites.
