Summary/Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to present a brief historical sketch of the development of intercontinental Bioceanic Corridors in South America highlighting the economic and social benefits of its implementation. Also, the aim is to emphasize the notion of regional integration as an alternative for countries for greater coordination of production chains associated with infrastructure development. Together, the research hypothesis establishes the relevance of making a bioceanic corridor in the northwest of the country, specifically in the state of Sinaloa, the economic impact would trigger an expansion in investment to encourage trade area with Asian countries and Europe. Glimpse beyond the risks, what they are the opportunities prevail to address the problems of global imbalances.
