Summary/Abstract: The study establishes that Measure 9 ‘Creation of producer organizations and producer groups’ has the strongest impact on the integration processes in the beekeeping sector both at the national level and in the Ruse region. Measure 16 ‘Cooperation’ could potentially also have a strong impact on the integration processes in the sector because it helps build clusters, short chains, agrarian markets, innovations, etc. but it has not started yet and does not operate. Since the start of the Rural Development Program 2014-2020, a relatively small share of the beekeeping farms has been integrated - under Measure 9 there are only 5 recognized organizations and producer groups, and none in the Ruse region, and 5 years since the beginning of the current reference period under Measure 16 has not started yet. The remaining Measures- Measure 4 ‘Investments in Tangible Assets’, Measure 6 ‘Development of Farms and Enterprises’, Measure 10 ‘Agroecology and Climate’, and Measure 11 "Organic Farming", have an indirect and very little impact on the integration processes in the sector.
