Summary/Abstract: The subject of the analysis was a new contract in polish legal system – the contract of help by harvests – and sources of motivation to create this agreement. The goal of research was particularly the answer on question: why contract of help by harvests was legally defined as civil law contract, despite of fact that it has all essential attributes, which are relevant to contract of work.
