Summary/Abstract: The development of intermodal transport in Poland has been noticeable in recent years. Railroad transport is most often used. Intermodal transport is still struggling with many barriers, but increasingly the infrastructure and policies of the European Union, which creates sustainable transport, have a positive impact on the growth of transport cohabitation. The aim of the study is to analyze the functioning of intermodal railways in Poland in the years 2010-2016. Forecasts have also been developed for this type of transport technology.
