The specification of logistics centres activity in Poland and in Belarus

Summary/Abstract: The article shows the specification of the formation and functioning of logistics centres in neighboring states: in Poland and in Belarus. In the Polish logistics system, centres are identified that to a certain extent comply with European standards. As an example, the characteristic of the activities of the International Logistics Centre Euroterminal in Slawkow is presented. Belarus, taking into account the positive experience of the development of logistics centres abroad, in 2008 adopted the Programme for the Development of the Logistics System of the Republic of Belarus until 2015, which identified the main approaches to the creation of logistics centres in the country. The state gives special attention to the problem of the formation of the transport and logistics industry, but in spite of this the logistics centres in Belarus are developing insufficiently and ineffectively System of the Republic of Belarus until 2015, which identified the main approaches to the creation of logistics centres in the country.
