Summary/Abstract: The aim of the article was to present the results of research on finding answers to the following research question: whether and to what extent, the definition of "unethical businessman", "unethical employer" and "unethical employee" has changed, in response to results received by the author in 2010. In connection with the above, the article presents a comparison of the results of these surveys carried out using the following tools: PAPI (Paper and Pen Personal Interviewing) in 2010 and CAWI (Computer-Assisted Web Interview) in 2018. Based on the obtained results, it can be concluded that the Polish society is changing from the individualistic (2010) attitude to pro-social (2018) and this is noticeable in all analyzed categories. Among the businessmen, awareness of the importance of positive relationships with external and internal stakeholders in building a competitive advantage is growing; employers appreciate the role of human capital, and employees know their rights and are not afraid to enforce them. From every perspective (businessman, employer and employee) attention is paid to the great importance of ethical attitudes, and unethical behaviour is no longer recognized as a sign of pseudo entrepreneurship ("resourcefulness"). As significant changes in individual categories were noted, formulated conclusions may be taken into account by managers, entrepreneurs and other persons responsible for human capital management, in the development of personnel strategies and in operational activities.
