Summary/Abstract: This paper presents a project of mobile payment system aimed at improving the quality of logistic services of an exemplary public transport operator in the Lodz region. The project is based on an assessment of the quality of logistic services provided by the carrier. Research has shown the need for mobile payments to reduce travel times and improve service quality. Consequently, a ticketing system for passengers of a researched company using e-commerce ticketing solutions was designed, with particular focus on mobile payment tools.
