Summary/Abstract: The aim of this article is the assessment of function of milk farms beneficiaries of package 4. Valuable habitats and endangered species of birds in Natura 2000 areas are part of the agro-environmental-climate action within RDP 2014-2020 in comparison to analogous remaining farms from the same municipalities. This analysis covered 44 beneficiary milk farms and 140 remaining milk farms from 36 municipalities in Poland. This analysis took into account production potential, production organization, production intensity, productivity of production factors, farm income per 1 FWU, share of operating subsidies in farm income and the net investment rate. The analysis was carried out using the data of agricultural holdings keeping accounting for the Polish FADN in 2016. It was found that beneficiary farms compared to remaining farms had slightly larger agricultural area and less labour input per 1 ha of agricultural land, worse technical work equipment and lower production intensity, which was reflected in their lower productivity of production factors. Moreover, they had slightly smaller income per 1 FWU, although with a higher share of operating subsidies. In addition, in the analized year both groups of farms were characterized by a negative net investment rate.
