An approach to cultural distance on the forum "I want to get back to Romania from Canada"

Summary/Abstract: This study aims to determine how a part of the Romanian participants in the debate on an online discussion forum perceive the cultural differences between themselves and the canadians. We focused mainly on the discussion forum Hotnews.ro, which had over more than a year only one subject (topic) discussed both by the Romanians in Romania and by the Romanians who emigrated to Canada or other countries, in Europe or North America.
