Summary/Abstract: The following paper will discuss the level of maturity of the supply chain as a main factor that determines supplier relationships in the supply chain. The Ch. C. Piorier categorization was taken into consideration, where the development of supply chains includes 5 stages. Analysis of individual stages of supply chain maturity towards presented classification is a substitute for identifying different models of supplier relationships in the supply chain. In the supply chain, supplier relationships are established in order to enter into a partnership. Establishing relationships with suppliers in the supply chain appears to create by a stronger partnership. The capability of this cooperation depends on many factors. A certain dependence between the level of maturity of the supply chain and the relationships with current suppliers was established. Each stage of supply chain maturity determines the modeling of different supplier relationship pattern in the supply chain. The article attempts to identify the factors that influence the modeling of supplier relationships which are determined by the level of maturity of the supply chain.
