Summary/Abstract: The article focuses on the peculiarities of the epistolary inheritance of Lesia Ukrainka. Her texts have been analyzed in which the linguistic creativity of the writer has been singled out. The peculiarities of her vision of the world, her feeling of the world, L. Ukrainka’s „language” biography, the specificity of the intertextuality, the ability of the word creativity, the features of the epistolary idiostyle, the signs of the epistolary behavior, the traits of character etc. have been analyzed. The process of writing the letters was represented in her creative work in which she eulogized the epistolary activity. The letter was considered by her as a phenomenon of a human being activity. The analysis illustrates the following: the epistolary inheritance of the poetess indicates her inclination to experiments; the analysis also represents Lesia Ukrainka’s views on environment, linguistic political problems, the aspects of translation studies and culturology.
