Safety of Electricity Supply

Summary/Abstract: The paper presents some results of the analysis of the basic sizes of the National Power System from the point of view of the security of the supply of power and electricity from the generation sources to the customers. Particularly attention has been paid to the existing state of security of electricity supply and the ability to continue to provide security in the long run and in the short term. The obtained results of own analysis are shown in comparison with the results of the audit of the European Court of Auditors and in the light of the audit results carried out by the Supreme Audit Institution. Attention should be drawn to the current adequacy of electricity supply and further ensure the security of electricity supply, inter alia by its introduction from the nuclear power plant from 2025 with the simultaneous development of renewable energy.
