Summary/Abstract: This paper aims to describe the HR practices that enhance e-culture. The research analysis, which was conducted based on empirical research, diagnoses and describes the HR practices that strengthen e-culture in virtual organizations. The data was acquired through 20 interviews with employees of the best IT companies in Poland (qualitative research). It describes the most common practices and tools used in the surveyed organizations. The paper contains some solutions and advice for HR specialists on how to accommodate organizational culture to a virtual organization’s requirements. Since e-culture is still a relatively new phenomenon, it is not fully recognized. Thus, specifying the HR practices that enable e-culture provides insights and innovative managerial knowledge.
